Welcome to CaMKinet!

Calcium/Calmodulin-dependent protein kinases (CaMKs) and their allies constitute a large family of Serine/Threonine kinases. Apart from a few well-studied examples, very little is known about the great majority of CaMK-like (CaMKL) kinases: the knowledge deficit encompasses phosphosite specificity, substrate proteins, whether they are regulated by Ca2+, and cellular functional and locational context.
